C5 – Covers for Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (Hepatitis), Distemper & Jet and Tia on the BeachParainfluenza as well as Bordatella Bronchoseptica (Kennel Cough) 

C6 – Covers for Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (Hepatitis), Distemper & Parainfluenza as well as Corona virus and Leptospira

C7 – Covers for Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (Hepatitis), Distemper, Parainfluenza, Bordatella Bronchoseptica (Kennel Cough), Corona virus & Leptospira

 

 

 

To keep your puppy Fit & Healthy we recommend the following puppy vaccination program:

 

First vaccination at 6 weeks of age

Booster vaccination at 10 weeks of age*

Annual Vaccinations.

* Finishing the puppy vaccination program at 10 weeks of age allows plenty of time for the all important training period to be done with full vaccination!

 

We use the Protech Brand of vaccinations here at Bundaberg South Vet Clinic. This brand allows us to do two puppy vaccinations finishing the program at 10 weeks of age and giving full coverage until the next annual vaccination!

Heartworm is a disease found in dogs characterised by large parasitic worms, Adult heartworms can grow up to 30cm in length

This disease is spread by mosquitos and there are at least 60 species known to carry and transmit the worm to pets. It can take as little as one bite to infect a dog with heartworm and if untreated can cause heart failure and death.

 

 

Symptoms in Dogs include:

A Dry cough,Lethargy, fainting, weight loss, breathing problems & difficulty with exercise.

Yearly Injections are a convenient way to prevent heart worm, it can be timed to coincide with your pets annual Vaccinations and can be started in puppies as early as 3 months old.

 

 

We recommend the following Program:

First Injection at 3 months

Second injection at 6 months

Third injection at 15 months

Then annually for life.
